Liber-Tea

This is a blend I have loved making for years and find myself coming back to again and again. It is a mix of African basil (O. gratissimum) which has a warming, clove-like flavor which is balanced by neutral notes of oatstraw and earthy nettle. The basil was lovingly grown by seed in my home garden using organic, no-till methods.

It makes a wonderful daily tea and can be especially supportive when recovering from seasonal illnesses like cold and flu. Each bag makes approximately 12 servings (tablespoons).
